The Park, Hyderabad unveils ‘La Sultana’ Suite by leading Indian Fashion Designer, Tarun Tahiliani

The Park, Hyderabad unveils its second signature suite ‘La Sultana’ designed by celebrated fashion designer, Tarun Tahiliani. Encompassing an area of 1800 sq ft, La Sultana pays homage to the women of the royal  courts.

Tahiliani said, “The Tarun Tahiliani brand is in pursuit of modern India and La Sultana is symbolic of that. I have created an oasis where guests will wish to keep on returning. At La Sultana Suite one relives a regal past and stays in the present.”

Priya Paul, Chairperson, Apeejay Surrendra Park Hotels Ltd. said, “The Park, Hyderabad has been conceived as a 7-star modern palace. Just as a palace would have had many different influences over centuries of being, I wanted to work with people from the world of fashion, furniture, product design and art to create spaces and objects that could reflect different ways of luxury living. ”

Overlooking the Hussain Sagar Lake, La Sultana offers a sanctuary from the hustle and bustle of Hyderabad. The interiors have been designed using a neutral colour palette with complementary textures of deep wood, mottled brass and burnished silver. Rich panels embroidered in the traditional Zardosi technique and antique glass paintings embellish the suite.

La Sultana follows on from the opening of the Osmania Suite, Jean-Francois Lesage’s tribute to the Golconda diamonds, exploring a contemporary palace fantasy at The Park Hyderabad.

Signature Suites at The Park Hyderabad start from 50, 000 INRS / £630 GBP approx, per night, excluding applicable taxes.
